Best of all, it's no further than popular Mediterranean destinations, being only a 3.5 hours flight from London.  Getting to Turkey from the UK and many EU countries is simplicity itself.  Direct flights run to Dalaman International airport from most UK airports right through the summer season (Beginning of April till the end of October) and most recently have started running from selected major UK airports throughout the winter months.

Sunset in Paradise

The area around Dalaman and along the coast to Fethiye is particularly popular amongst British property investors as the Turkish government is improving the tourism infrastructure in an attempt to make this area one of Turkey's top tourist attractions.  This investment includes the expansion of Dalaman International airport, the building of three marinas and the area's first golf course.  As this investment programme is only in its early stages, property prices have not yet reacted.  This is certainly an area of great potential to property investors.
